Re-Act's Wishlist

Each week, children are arriving both with their families and unaccompanied to find safety in Edinburgh. 

ReAct's volunteers work tirelessly to provide welcome packs to these children. Each pack contains a backpack suitable for nursery, school or college, a toothbrush and toothpaste, hat, scarf, gloves, water bottle, lunch box, stationery, books and toys.

 

In the year from April 2025 we have provided 90 welcome packs to children from 24 different countries (including Palestine, Sudan, Nigera & Afghanistan). 

 

All items purchased by the incredible people of Edinburgh or through grants from local funders.

 

To be part of the warm welcome, you can:

• Purchase an item via our Amazon list, and it will be delivered straight to our team. 

• Buy the item from any retailer and send it to our team. Message us here for the postal address. 

• Donate to us through Paypal, the money will be used for Welcome Packs in 2026 and other essential services.
