NEW SCOTS SEWING PROJECT

ABOUT

Currently, Syrian and Kurdish New Scots families are donating their time and skills to sew face masks for local Edinburgh community groups. This project both provides an opportunity for the New Scot community to contribute to the pandemic relief efforts and creates pathways for up-skilling and possible employment.

ORDERS
Please email us at info@react.scot. We currently have a limited funding capacity so cannot accept all requests, but would love to hear from you to see if we can assist your organisation. Please note we are unable to take orders from individuals.

FEEDBACK?
If you have any feedback on the masks or want to pass on a message of thanks to the volunteers you can email us at info@react.scot or message us on Facebook.

DONATE

If you've received a mask and would like to donate, thank you! Please head to our donate page. As a guide, one mask usually retails between £3-6 each.

PARTNERS

This project wouldn't be possible without funding provided by Foundation Scotland and the National Emergencies
Trust and distributed by the Scottish Refugee Council.

We'd also like to thank our suppliers for their support: Singer Sewing Machines, Edinburgh Fabrics and Eco-Art
